About The Role
DNV Industrial Services, is seeking a Finance Analyst to join our finance team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, reporting to the Area Project Controller. The Finance Analyst's responsibility is primarily to support the Area Project Controller in handling all project controlling related activities for the assigned countries.

General
Key Accountabilities:
- To maintain and co-ordinate financial governance per DNV/ Industrial Services business policies & procedures.
Project Controlling
- To perform customer invoicing and ensure timely collection of AR balances.
- To create PO for sub-contractors and perform the subsequent matching with the relevant supplier invoices.
- To acquire hands-on experience on Project Controlling & the related modules in Oracle and fully understand their integration with Inspection Production Tool (iI2) .
- To work closely with the Country team to ensure accurate set-up and maintenance of projects in iI2.
- To align iI2 data with Oracle for successful integration and trouble shoot issues relating to integration.
Monthly Closing
- To prepare month end Work-in-Progress (WIP) for accrual.
- Liaise with GSS (Global Shared Services) team on all BA (Business Area) related procedures to ensure proper closing process.
- Support the project review for the month end close.
Ad-hoc/ Ancillary
- Assist in responding to queries on audit or tax related issues.
- Improvement in day-to-day operation process.
- Any other jobs assigned by the Management from time to time.
About You
Technical/ Competency Requirements:
- Strong in Advanced Microsoft Excel and related applications
- Good knowledge & hands-on experience on Oracle or equivalent system
- High attention to detail
- Ability to build relationships at all levels
- Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks with efficiency and effectiveness
Professional Qualification/ Expertise/ Experience Requirements
- Professional Accounting qualifications including Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ Finance
- Exposure to Project Controlling & Finance analysis is an advantage
- 4 to 5 years of prior working experience in related field
