About The Role
This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. They are responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.
As a CBRE Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the financial services delivery of a clients Real Estate Services function. This includes support and oversight of; Fixed Assets Management, Financial Resources Planning process, Lease payment handling in accordance to IFRS 16, functional support to all real estate related work streams, Capital Project account finalization, property related database management, accounts compliance with external & local regulatory bodies including furnishing statistical information for analysis & reporting purposes locally and regionally.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the data integrity of fixed asset records are up to date & compliant with GRCA(Group Reporting Chart of Accounts), IAS (International Accounting Standards) & FRS (Financial Reporting Standards).
- Finalize Capital Projects accounts arising from new branches/relocation/refurbishment fit out works & capital related projects.
- Supervise Invoice processing & managing accruals.
- Support Portfolio, Transactions & Estate team in processing of lease renewals/standing instructions/refundable deposits in accounting treatment relating to leased spaces & IFRS16 Cash Contra reconciliation.
- Provide accurate & timely submission of data for analytical reporting & overall business strategy.
- Perform month-end reconciliation/balancing on GL/suspense accounts & follow up action on ageing items.
- Ensure monthly/quarterly returns are furnished with deadlines
- Formulate & implement work processes to cater for new systems, business strategies, initiatives, products, troubleshoot, provide guidance for HUB ADM system & maintain optimum efficiency.
- Manage and oversees the Financial Resources Planning process.
- Respond to and resolve issues and requests from management teams and client regarding various accounting issues and reports.
- Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
- Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
- Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate financial-related calculations.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff (verbal and written)
