Role Description The Finance Analyst – Supply Chain will support financial planning and analysis activities related to supply chain operations for clients based in Petaling Jaya. This contract, on-site role includes preparing and reviewing financial reports, analyzing cost structures, monitoring inventory and procurement expenses, and supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles. The analyst will collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and operations teams to provide insights on margin performance, cost efficiencies, and working capital. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting financial data, ensuring accurate recording of supply chain transactions, assisting with month-end closing activities, and contributing to process improvements. The role also involves preparing presentations and dashboards for management, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and supporting ad hoc analyses and projects.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge and experience working with Financial Statements.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning and Financial Reporting to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools; experience with ERP or supply chain systems is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or distribution environments is beneficial.
