Job Description

The Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager Account Operations will oversee the day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions to ensure efficient financial operations, strong internal controls, and effective working capital management. The role will work closely with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to ensure accurate transaction processing, timely collections, and smooth vendor disbursements while supporting Borong's operational scalability and financial governance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Manage supplier payments, invoice verification, and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor AR aging and collections, working closely with internal teams and customers to resolve outstanding balances.
  • Support working capital management by improving payment cycles and collection efficiency.
  • Ensure proper documentation, internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, SOPs, and system workflows.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, vendors, customers, and auditors on operational finance matters.
  • Assist with operational reporting related to AP/AR aging, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 46 years of experience in accounting or finance operations.
  • Strong understanding of AP/AR processes, reconciliations, and financial controls.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems is an advantage.
  • Good analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
