We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Finance and Administration Manager, playing a vital role in enhancing our financial accounting operations, with the primary focus on supporting our Hong Kong finance team while ensuring smooth operations in Malaysia.

Role Requirements

This is a hands-on role focused on supporting finance operations, compliance, and process discipline across accounting, tax, and statutory areas. Ideal for professionals with 510 years experience, it offers the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function and grow into a leadership role as the company expands.

Responsibilities

Oversee accounts receivables and implement effective collection controls.

Liaise with local banks, auditors, consultants, and funders on financial, regulatory, and financing matters.

Overseeing documentation submission to funders.

Assist the Hong Kong finance team and Malaysia office with other finance-related tasks on a daily basis.

Oversee office administration for the Malaysia office, including day-to-day operations, facilities, and general support functions.

To support any other matters, handle down by CFO / Hong Kong Finance team.

Competencies required for the role;

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Malaysian accounting standards.

Ability to prepare and interpret full sets of financial statements independently.

Skilled in financial reporting, compliance, audit support, tax reporting, and statutory submissions.

Logical, methodical, and process-oriented with strong analytical and numerical skills.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels.

Profile Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance/and Accounting.

5-10 years of managerial experience in finance, preferably in financial services or fast-paced industries.

Strong technical expertise in accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, and audit requirements under Malaysian law.

Experience in MSC-status companies will be an added advantage.

Experience working with banks and external consultants on complex financial matters.
