Job Description Finance Associate/Senior Associate
Reporting to - Finance Manager/Assistant Manager
Location - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Role And Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts including cash flow, month/quarter/year-end closing, GST and year-end audit activities for clients.
- Prepare unaudited financial statements.
- Convert financial statements into XBRL format.
- Prepare tax computations for Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) and financial statement disclosures purposes.
- Collaborate effectively within teams, supporting the Manager in achieving departmental targets.
- Attend and facilitate (as appropriate) all status meetings, client meetings and client calls.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and clients to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties or assignments as required.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accountancy/ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent
- Fresh graduates with strong academic results are encouraged to apply
- Diploma holders with relevant experience may apply
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, including experience in the related fields
- Meticulous and good analytical skills
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- IT Savvy, knowledge of cloud-based accounting software required
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
