Finance Associate or Senior Finance Associate

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Finance Associate / Senior Finance Associate, located in Kuching. The role will supports the company's financial operations through tasks like preparing financial reports, analysing data, assisting with budgets, and managing accounts payable and receivable. Key responsibilities include financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, reconciliation of accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate with different departments and support financial decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, banking and business study; or equivalent professional certificates (i.e., ACCA, CIMA, CA).
• Minimum 3-5 years of working experience, preferably in construction, utilities and/or energy industry.
• Able to handle full set of accounts independently, and experienced in corporate financing and credit control functions.
• Experienced in financial and management reporting.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suites and accounting software is a must.
• Posses or in the midst of applying as CA(M) with Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) is advantageous.
