We are seeking experience Finance Business Partner- Technology to join us in Malaysia. This role will be reporting to Associate Director, Group Finance Technology

Purpose of Role

Ensuring accurate tracking, analysis, and reporting of indirect costs for the Global Technology Function (Staff and Non-staff) to optimize profitability and financial efficiency. Support budgeting, cost control while identifying opportunities to improve profit by reduce expenses

Scope

Supporting Associate Director in tracking, reporting, analysis and budgeting technology indirect costs for Vistra Group. Role is global and covering the whole technology group, representing a budget of USD50m

Key Responsibilities

• Cost Tracking and Reporting – Monitor indirect technology costs, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting. Produce high quality, actionable reports with detailed analysis of cost variances and drivers. Conduct monthly cost reviews with stakeholders, providing in-depth performance analysis to senior leadership for effective decision-making
• Budgeting and Forecasting – support the budgeting and forecasting for indirect technology costs.
• Cost control and optimization – Collaborate with technology teams to analyse costs, identify efficiencies, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Review and action project recovery transfers
• Regular housekeeping of data structures – Work with HR and Financial Controlling teams to regularly update and correct input data structures (e.g., Vconnect, accounting entries).
• Stakeholder Collaboration – Coordinate with Financial Controlling, Global Technology, to ensure alignment with business goals.
