The Country Finance Controller plays a pivotal role in shaping the country's financial success, owning end-to-end finance operations while ensuring robust governance, accurate reporting, and full compliance with local regulations. As a strategic business partner, the role works closely with country leadership and regional finance teams to drive performance, insight, and informed decision-making.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coach, and grow the finance team. Drive continuous improvement, automation, and process standardization.
- Lead timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and complete financial statements in accordance with Local GAAP
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles. Provide actionable financial insights, scenario analyses, and recommendations. Track performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Oversee corporate tax, SST, transfer pricing support, and other local tax matters.
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to leadership and functional heads. Support commercial decisions, pricing, cost optimization, investments, contracts, and strategic projects.
- Optimize ERP and finance systems. Lead finance projects, system upgrades, and process enhancements. Promote best practices and operational efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 7 years of relevant experience background in accounting
