Job description:
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Finance Executive (Accounts Payable & Treasury) to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, overseeing foreign exchange (FX) activities, and supporting treasury operations. The ideal candidate is analytical, meticulous, and able to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
Office Location: Shah Alam, Glenmarie
Office Hours: Mon-Fri, 830am-530pm
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable
- Accurately code and process vendor invoices and payment vouchers.
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate or resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and prepayments.
Treasury & Foreign Exchange Management
- Monitor and manage foreign exchange exposure, including the execution of FX hedging contracts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all FX transactions and positions.
- Prepare regular reports on FX exposure, hedging effectiveness, and currency risk analysis and forecasting.
Cash Flow & Banking Operations
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions to maintain effective banking relationships.
- Assist in managing the company's cash flow, including daily cash positioning and cash forecasting.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous, proactive, attentive, and detail-oriented.
- Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
- Able to commute to Glenmarie, Shah Alam.
- Candidates who are available to start immediately will have an added advantage.
