Role Summary:
Finance Executive will perform a variety of finance, accounting, and payroll duties to ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the company. Under the direction of the Project Accountant, support the relevant business functions to achieve the organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily finance duties, such as AP, AR, banking, and other assignments.
- Perform financial tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices/receipts/payment vouchers/journals, creating bank payments in the bank portal, and liaising with vendors and other stakeholders.
- Responsible for records of all financial transactions, including invoices, payments, payroll, and staff expense reimbursements.
- Prepare employee expense reimbursement according to company policy.
- Prepare employee statutory reporting (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and HRDC) and payments on time.
- Review intercompany transactions and ensure timely billing and collection.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the update of bank records.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in finance, preferably in a small office setup.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting tools, preferably NetSuite.
- Proven exposure to foreign currency transactions is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a Project Delivery and Service/Support environment is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
