The Finance Analyst, Financial Reporting, is responsible for supporting the Group Financial Reporting team in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all financial reports. The role covers the month-end, quarter-end, year-end closing activities. The role also involves in supporting statutory reporting and regulatory submissions to authorities.
- Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including journal entries posting and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in preparation of management accounts with high-level variance analysis and commentary.
- Assist in preparation of various financial reports and support internal stakeholders.
- Assist in statutory reporting and regulatory submissions to BNM, ISM, PIAM, LFSA, and other relevant authorities.
- Support external audits through preparation of schedules, reconciliations, and responses to auditor queries.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., actuarial, pricing, and product teams) by providing relevant financial data and insights.
- Assist in enhancing financial reporting processes, internal controls, and system improvements (e.g., SAP B1).
- Perform any other ad-hoc assignments as required.
Job Requirement
- Candidate should possess a Diploma / Advanced Diploma, Bachelor Degree, Professional Certificates or equivalent in Finance / Accountancy / Banking,Business Studies / Administration / Management
- Preferably at least 2 years of related working experience.
- Preferably Executive specializing in Finance / Banking / Insurance or equivalent.
- Good communication skills in English,Malay language for both spoken and written
