Job Summary: The Finance Executive – General Accounting is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end closing activities, preparing financial and tax reports, and ensuring proper account reconciliations and fixed asset management in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Job Summary: The Finance Executive – General Accounting is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end closing activities, preparing financial and tax reports, and ensuring proper account reconciliations and fixed asset management in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Post accounting transactions accurately and ensure all entries are recorded in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist in maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
- Support the monthly closing process, including the preparation of monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheet reports within stipulated timelines.
- Compile, review, and reconcile monthly tax-related reports to ensure timely submission to the relevant tax authorities.
- Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring all asset records are accurate, complete, and properly documented.
- Perform cashiering duties whenever required and ensure proper handling of cash transactions.
- Be adaptable and willing to take on additional duties as needed to support the team on an ad hoc basis.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, Hotel Management, Finance, or Accounting.
- Strong command of written and spoken English; proficiency in other languages is an added advantage.
- Demonstrates self-management and upholds core values in the workplace.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and skilled in operating standard office equipment.
- A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Due to work permit restrictions, only Malaysian citizens and Permanent Residents will be considered.
