WHAT YOULL DO:
Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including but not limited to journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
Manage day-to-day financial operations such as accounts receivable and payable.
Conduct financial analysis, forecasting and financial planning activities.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports for the Group and its subsidiaries.
Support the audit and regulatory submission of the Group and its subsidiaries.
Support in projects, initiatives and other ad-hoc assignments.
Collaborate across the team and with other departments to ensure compliance and improve the processes.
Requirements
Candidates should have 1-2 years of proven work experience in accounting, finance, or audit. Experience in an insurance company or startup is a plus.
Possess a bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Accounting , Finance, or a related field, or currently pursuing professional accounting qualification.
Strong attention to detail is essential, along with good knowledge of accounting procedures and accounting standards.
Proficiency in MS Office is required, and experience in the implementation of accounting software is a plus.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is important, as are strong organisational and time-management abilities.
