Job Title: Finance Analyst (Thai Speaker)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Shared Services Centre)

Grit Search is partnered with a globally established Retail MNC that is expanding its Malaysia-based Shared Services Centre to onboard Thailand operations. As part of this growth, they are hiring 3 Finance Analysts across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable — all requiring Thai language proficiency.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing SSC team with a reputable global brand.

Role Overview:

• SSC Finance Contributor: Own your assigned process tower — GL, AP, or AR — supporting the Thailand entity from the Malaysia SSC.
• Thai Language Bridge: Serve as the key communication link between the SSC and Thailand-based stakeholders, vendors, and customers.
• Process & Controls: Ensure all finance operations are accurate, timely, and compliant with internal policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities (across GL / AP / AR):

• GL: Journal entries, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliation, intercompany, and financial reporting.
• AP: Invoice processing, vendor payments, 3-way matching, payment runs, and supplier query resolution.
• AR: Cash application, collections, customer invoice clearing, AR aging monitoring, and reconciliations.
• Support audit requests, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate with Thailand stakeholders in Thai for day-to-day operational matters.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Language: Proficient in Thai (spoken and written).
• Experience: 1–3 years in a finance operations or SSC/GBS environment preferred.
• Systems: Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Mindset: Detail-oriented, process-driven, and a collaborative team player.
