Job Brief
The Finance Executive supports core finance operations including payment processing, invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting. This role ensures timely execution of transactions, accuracy of financial records, and compliance with internal controls. It is suitable for candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience and open to fresh graduates who are keen to develop a career in corporate finance.
Job Responsibilities
- Process payment activities including TT and GIRO payments, cancellations, and rejected transactions using finance systems.
- Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain and reconcile payment, invoice, and e‑profile records to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor finance group mailbox, respond to operational queries, and liaise with internal stakeholders on payment status.
- Update payment returns, claims payment status, and issue payment advice when required.
- Support month‑end closing activities including bank transfers, bank charges, and journal entries.
- Assist in annual reporting such as cheque usage and electronic payment adoption.
- Support audit requests, documentation preparation, and system User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Perform ad‑hoc finance and operational tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant working experience are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of accounting and payment processes.
- Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and a structured working approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; exposure to SAP or finance systems is an added advantage.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
