Job Description

REFORM Digital is looking for a Finance Lead to take ownership of our day-to-day financial management, reporting, cash-flow visibility and financial discipline.

This is a hands-on step-up opportunity for a Senior Finance Executive, Senior Accountant or Assistant Finance Manager who is ready to take broader ownership of the Finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain a rolling 13-week cash-flow forecast, providing leadership with clear visibility of collections, upcoming obligations and cash risks.
  • Manage accounts receivable and collections, working closely with Account Management and business owners to drive timely payments.
  • Manage and plan upcoming vendor, payroll, statutory and operational payments, ensuring these are accurately reflected in cash-flow forecasts.
  • Prepare timely monthly management accounts and finance dashboards covering revenue, gross profit, OPEX, EBITDA, cash and receivables.
  • Manage budgets and rolling forecasts, including budget vs actual analysis and variance reporting.
  • Track project and client profitability, including revenue, direct costs and margins, and flag underperforming accounts.
  • Coordinate statutory and finance compliance requirements, including tax, SST, audit, payroll-related and other regulatory deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate reconciliations, financial records and effective financial controls and processes.
  • Ensure the day-to-day Finance function runs effectively, including guiding junior team members where applicable and ensuring deadlines and processes are followed through.
  • Support financial reporting and coordination across REFORM's regional operations as required.
  • Provide leadership with clear financial insights, risks and recommended actions.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in management accounts, cash flow, AP/AR, collections, budgeting, reporting and reconciliations.
  • Good understanding of statutory and finance compliance requirements.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets and accounting system skills.
  • Commercially minded, analytical, organised and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable working directly with financial data rather than only reviewing others work.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with non-finance teams.
  • Candidates at Senior Finance Executive / Assistant Finance Manager level looking to step into greater ownership are encouraged to apply.

Definition of Success

Within 6–12 months, you will have established:

  • Reliable 13-week cash-flow visibility
  • Strong collections and payment-planning discipline
  • Timely and accurate management accounts
  • Clear visibility of revenue, margins, OPEX and EBITDA
  • Proper project/client profitability tracking
  • Stronger financial controls and compliance discipline
  • A well-run, accountable day-to-day Finance function
  • Proactive financial insights that help leadership make better decisions
