We are looking for an experienced Finance Leader to join our client in Malaysia.
This is a key leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for the company's financial management, reporting, governance, controls, compliance, and commercial insight.
The successful candidate will:
- Own the monthly financial reporting and year-end close
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
- Oversee balance-sheet reconciliations, AR/AP and payroll governance
- Manage statutory, tax, audit and Group reporting requirements
- Provide proactive financial insight and advice to the General Manager
- Lead monthly project and contract financial reviews
- Identify financial risks and strengthen internal controls
- Manage and develop finance team members where applicable
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, ACCA, CPA or equivalent
- Strong general and cost accounting experiences
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong communication, integrity, judgement and commercial awareness
- Willingness to travel occasionally
