About the role:

We are launching an exciting Finance Management Trainee Program designed to develop high-potential early-career finance professionals into future leaders within our organization. The program offers 3 structured rotations across key finance functions and geographies, combined with hands-on project experience and mentorship from senior leaders.

This is a 2-year plus accelerated development journey aimed at building deep functional expertise, business acumen, and leadership capabilities preparing trainees for critical roles in SEA Country Finance Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Shared Services, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

As a trainee in this program, you will rotate through critical finance functions across the region. Your responsibilities will evolve from operational excellence in Shared Services to strategic business partnering in SEA entities

  • Process mastery, operational efficiency, and digital transformation
  • Financial planning & analysis, business partnering, and strategic reporting
  • Cross-rotation leadership & development through best practice sharing, documentation & standardization, ad-hoc strategic projects

Position Requirements:

  • Candidates with 12 years of relevant finance experience post-graduation
  • Willing to mobile within China and SEA countries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
  • Strong academic background from top Malaysian universities (see recommended list below). Preferred Universities:
  • University of Malaya (UM)
  • National University of Malaysia (UKM)
  • Universiti Pertanian Malaysia (UPM)
  • Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM)
  • TAR College / University
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, attention to detail, and eager to learn
  • High learning agility and resilience, with proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, matrixed global organization
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional and multicultural environments
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading organizational change initiatives (desired)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and finance reporting/data analysis
