Our clients, a prominent leader in their industry, is currently seeking a Finance Manager. This role will oversee and drive the financial health and strategic direction of the business operations in Johor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead overall finance operations including budgeting, financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Manage full set of accounts and ensure timely, accurate preparation of financial statements.
- Oversee daily accounting activities, including journal approvals, invoicing, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, including audit schedules, reports, and financial disclosures.
- Supervise, guide, and manage finance team performance, including recruitment and staff development.
- Handle risk management functions such as internal controls, credit control, and process improvements.
- Manage costing functions including cost analysis, budgeting, variance reporting, and inventory control.
- Oversee treasury operations including cash flow management, forecasting, and banking relationships.
- Support management with reports, financial insights, and ad-hoc tasks, while handling operational accounting (AP/AR, payroll, and reporting).
Key Requirements:
- Min degree, CPA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
- Min 8 years of working experience within Finance & Accounting roles.
- Strong interpersonal & stakeholder management skills with good business acumen & strategic thinking.
- Highly-motivated, results-oriented, and forward-thinking leader/team player with good work ethic, credibility, and sense of integrity
