As part of its strategic expansion, the group has recently established a construction-focused subsidiary to strengthen in-house project delivery and enhance cost, quality, and timeline control across its developments.
This newly formed subsidiary is set to play a key role in supporting the group's future projects, offering an opportunity for finance professionals to be involved from an early stage and contribute to building robust financial systems, controls, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, monitor, and update project budgets, forecasts, and financial models to ensure accurate financial planning and performance tracking.
- Implement effective cost control systems to monitor actual expenditures against approved budgets. Identify cost overruns, analyze variances, and recommend corrective measures to improve financial efficiency.
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive monthly project financial reports, providing management with clear insights into project performance, cash flow, and profitability.
- Support the drawdown of bank facilities and project financing requirements. Ensure compliance with all loan covenants and financing terms, while maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions.
- Ensure all financial transactions and documentation comply with company policies, approved accounting standards, and statutory regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhance reporting efficiency.
- Undertake other financial-related tasks and special projects as assigned by Management.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Minimum 45 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
