This reputable conglomerate is well known for its diverse portfolio spanning property development, construction, retail, and investment ventures. Due to an expansion, the company is looking for a Finance Manager to join its construction team
Your new role
- Develop, maintain, and update project budgets, forecasts, and financial models to ensure precise financial planning and effective performance monitoring.
- Implement robust cost control measures to track actual spending against approved budgets. Investigate variances, address cost overruns, and propose corrective actions to enhance financial efficiency.
- Prepare detailed monthly financial reports for projects, delivering clear insights on performance, cash flow, and profitability to management.
- Facilitate drawdowns of bank facilities and manage project financing needs, ensuring full compliance with loan covenants and financing terms while maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions.
- Ensure all financial transactions and documentation adhere to company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and optimize reporting efficiency
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will need to possess:
- A minimum degree in Accounting and Finance, professional qualification is preferably (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent).
- Comes from construction or infrastructure related companies.
- Strong in financial reporting & contract accounting
- Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
