Our Regional IT client is currently looking for a Finance Manager / Accountant to join their team in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities:
- Perform and ensure accurate and timely completion of daily financial operations and periodic financial closing activities.
- Prepare and review financial reports and performance analysis for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure key financial accounts are reviewed and reconciled on a regular basis.
- Produce timely financial and operational information to support business monitoring.
- Oversee routine transaction processing, including supplier and staff-related payments.
- Coordinate statutory and compliance-related financial reporting.
- Support financial planning activities, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Partner with stakeholders to support cost control and financial discipline.
- Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders such as external auditors, tax agents and bankers on audit, tax and banking matters.
- Support payroll review and coordination with relevant parties.
- Drive continuous and performance improvement initiatives involving finance processes, systems, and controls.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as and when required by Management.
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/equivalent discipline. Being a member with any professional accounting body such as ACCA/ICAEW/CIMA/CPA is an advantage.
- Possess relevant experience of at least 8 years. Prior experience in IT companies is an advantage.
- Possess impeccable communication and articulation skills for optimal effective and efficient engagement with regional stakeholders.
- High proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin.
- Independent and agile to be able to manage deadlines effectively.
