Job Description
- Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Lead financial reporting activities and ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
- Provide technical accounting expertise on financial reporting matters, including the application of IFRS standards, particularly IFRS 16 lease accounting.
- Manage external audits, statutory reporting, and corporate tax compliance, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and legal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies.
- Analyse financial data to support strategic decision-making and improve performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage cost control and optimise resource allocation.
- Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team to achieve departmental goals.
- Review and enhance internal controls to safeguard company assets.
The Successful Applicant
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are highly regarded.
- Hands-on experience with IFRS, particularly IFRS 16 lease accounting.
- Experience managing audit, statutory reporting, and tax compliance matters.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Singapore.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
