Description
- Lead and oversee the plant's annual budgeting process, ensuring consistency with overall corporate financial objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision‑making, including initiatives for cost optimisation and capital investments.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to track actual performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Oversee and manage operational expenses, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process efficiency improvements.
- Establish and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure accurate product and service costing.
- Review and analyse production costs, providing actionable recommendations to enhance profitability.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with local accounting standards and internal corporate policies.
- Comply with all applicable Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) regulations and related legal requirements to promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.
Profile
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent will be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Proven experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
