Financial Reporting & Consolidation
- Manage regional financial reporting and consolidation across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely closing.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies.
- Oversee AP, AR, and GL operations to maintain strong financial controls and reporting discipline.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Performance
- Coordinate annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes with business stakeholders.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Allocate corporate center costs across profit centers accurately and consistently.
Risk Management & Internal Controls
- Identify financial and operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
Business Partnering
- Partner with sales, operations, and supply chain teams to support financial planning and operational decision-making.
- Provide timely financial analysis and insights to management to support business objectives.
Audit, Tax & Compliance
- Coordinate external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Ensure compliance with tax, transfer pricing, and regulatory requirements in accordance with IRB guidelines.
- Oversee compliance with LHDN e-Invoice requirements, ensuring accurate and timely submission to IRBM.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, coach, and develop the finance team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment.
- Support the development of standardized processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- ISCA / Chartered Accountant / ACCA qualified.
- Minimum 810 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
- Proven experience managing finance operations and leading teams.
- Industry experience in trading and distribution is preferred.
- ERP implementation or enhancement experience is an advantage; Navision / Business Central exposure preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and financial analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with regular management presentation experience.
- Structured, detail-oriented, resilient, and execution-focused.
- Able to perform under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
