Job Description

Financial Reporting & Consolidation

  • Manage regional financial reporting and consolidation across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely closing.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies.
  • Oversee AP, AR, and GL operations to maintain strong financial controls and reporting discipline.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Performance

  • Coordinate annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes with business stakeholders.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Allocate corporate center costs across profit centers accurately and consistently.

Risk Management & Internal Controls

  • Identify financial and operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.

Business Partnering

  • Partner with sales, operations, and supply chain teams to support financial planning and operational decision-making.
  • Provide timely financial analysis and insights to management to support business objectives.

Audit, Tax & Compliance

  • Coordinate external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, transfer pricing, and regulatory requirements in accordance with IRB guidelines.
  • Oversee compliance with LHDN e-Invoice requirements, ensuring accurate and timely submission to IRBM.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, coach, and develop the finance team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment.
  • Support the development of standardized processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • ISCA / Chartered Accountant / ACCA qualified.
  • Minimum 810 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
  • Proven experience managing finance operations and leading teams.
  • Industry experience in trading and distribution is preferred.
  • ERP implementation or enhancement experience is an advantage; Navision / Business Central exposure preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and financial analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with regular management presentation experience.
  • Structured, detail-oriented, resilient, and execution-focused.
  • Able to perform under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
