Finance Manager

Role's Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the full finance and accounting function
• Ensure timely monthly management accounts, financial statements, and reporting in line with MFRS
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial governance
• Oversee tax compliance (corporate tax, SST) and manage external parties (auditors, tax agents)
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions, cost control, and margin improvement
• Monitor working capital, credit control, and supplier payments
• Review contracts and assess financial and risk impact
• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team
• Work with other departments to resolve accounting issues efficiently
• Manage external audits and ensure timely submissions

Role's Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional qualification (ACCA / CPA / MIA) preferred
• 6–10 years of experience, including 2–3 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial reporting and tax requirements
• Experience in logistics, transport, SME, or asset-heavy business is an advantage
• Proven track record in improving processes and strengthening financial control
• Strong business sense and ability to support management decisions
• High integrity, ownership mindset, and attention to detail
