Role Overview
This role combines full-spectrum financial management and strategic business development responsibilities. The incumbent will oversee financial reporting and controls while playing a key role in land acquisition, investment evaluation, and development feasibility analysis to support the Group's expansion strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Finance, Reporting & Controls
- Review full set of accounts prepared by FSSC, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
- Analyze monthly management accounts, identify key issues, and provide corrective actions on accounting treatments, cash flow, and tax-related matters
- Oversee cash flow management and prepare rolling cash flow projections to ensure liquidity and support operational and investment needs
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely audit completion and minimize audit adjustments
- Review tax computations and estimates prepared by tax agents to ensure compliance and optimize tax positions
- Manage banking facilities, including loan documentation, drawdowns, covenant monitoring, and ongoing bank relationship management
2. Business Development & Land Acquisition (Core Focus)
- Lead financial feasibility studies for potential land acquisitions and development projects, including return analysis (IRR, NPV, ROI)
- Conduct in-depth financial and commercial due diligence on land parcels, covering zoning regulations, development potential, infrastructure readiness, holding costs, and exit strategies
- Evaluate investment risks and sensitivities under different development and market scenarios
- Prepare investment papers, board proposals, and strategic recommendations for senior management and Board approval
- Support negotiation with landowners, agents, and stakeholders from a financial and structuring perspective
- Work closely with planning, legal, and technical teams to align financial assumptions with development strategy
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the Group's landbank expansion strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline
- Minimum 5years of relevant experience in finance, corporate finance, investment analysis, or property development finance
- Strong exposure to business development, investment evaluation, or land acquisition is highly preferred
- Experience in property development / real estate / infrastructure / investment holding group will be an advantage
- Prior involvement in feasibility studies, project evaluation, or M&A / corporate investment analysis is strongly preferred
