Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and hands-on Finance Manager to lead our finance function and support the company's continued growth.

This role is responsible for overseeing financial operations, financial reporting, forecasting, cash flow management, taxation, statutory compliance, and internal controls. You will work closely with project, procurement, contract, and management teams to provide financial insights, support commercial decision-making, and drive continuous process improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day finance and accounting operations.

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.

• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.

• Monitor project costs, profitability, and overall financial performance.

• Ensure timely billing, collections, accounts payable, and accounts receivable management.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.

• Coordinate annual audits, tax submissions, and statutory reporting.

• Partner with project, procurement, and contract teams to provide financial analysis for tenders, contracts, and ongoing projects.

• Support management with financial analysis, business performance reporting, and strategic decision-making.

• Lead initiatives in finance digitalisation, process improvement, workflow optimisation, and internal control enhancement.

• Maintain and improve finance documentation, SOPs, and governance to ensure operational continuity and knowledge transfer.

• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team while fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent is an added advantage.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.

• Experience in the construction, engineering, or project-based industry will be an advantage.

• Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, taxation, cash flow management, and internal controls, with a proactive attitude towards continuous learning and professional development.

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• A proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for continuous improvement.
