Pay: 8,000.00 (MYR)-11,500.00 (MYR) per month

Job Description

The Manager of Finance Reporting is responsible for leading and managing the Financial Reporting, ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements, optimising cost efficiency, and providing strategic advice to support business objectives. This role oversees all financial reporting matters for company acts as the key liaison with auditors, external advisors and etc.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manage & lead in streamlining Financial Reporting Operation and maintain decision support systems through process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the interpretation of financial trends and insight and propose business recommendation to higher management.
  • Lead and manage all financial reports (both company level and group reporting), and financial statement reviews ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Act as primary liaison with auditors and senior stakeholders (both financial audit & internal audit)
  • Lead and oversee internal and external audit engagements, ensuring audit scope and processes adequately address all risk areas, comply with regulatory requirements and internal controls, and that audit findings and responses are accurate and complete.
  • Quality review & finalisation of AFS and Consolidation Note
  • Provide effective leadership to the team by driving performance, capability development, and engagement, fostering a high-performance culture that supports business objectives and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments on strategic projects and business initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field

Professional qualification: ACCA, CPA or MIA Member is mandatory.

Minimum 10 years of progressive finance, accounting or auditing experience, with at least 3 years in managerial capacity

Proven track record in financial planning & analysis, leadership, analytical, and communication skills

Attention to details and hands-on approach to problem solving.

Proficient in financial systems and MS Office applications. Sould excel skill is an advantage

A track record of driving improvements and implementing best practices will be highly regarded
