Job Description

Role: Finance Manager (Mandarin Speaker)

Industry : MNC Manufacturing

Location: Seelong, Senai

Working Days: 5 days

Reports To: General Manager

Job Summary:

The Finance Manager will oversee the financial operations of the manufacturing company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective financial planning. This role involves managing the finance team, developing and implementing financial policies and procedures, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's business objectives.

- Prepare and present financial forecasts, budgets, and financial reports.

- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

2. Accounting and Reporting:

- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.

3. Internal Controls and Compliance:

- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.

- Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and company policies.

- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies.

4. Cost Management:

- Monitor and control manufacturing costs and expenses.

- Analyze cost structures and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

- Support pricing decisions and product profitability analysis.

5. Team Leadership:

- Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team.

- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

6. Cash Flow Management:

- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds.

- Manage banking relationships and optimize cash management processes.

- Implement effective credit control and collections policies.

7. Strategic Support:

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

- Collaborate with other departments to drive financial performance and efficiency.

- Participate in strategic planning and business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.

- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
