Finance Manager, Shared Services

Lead a newly established regional Finance Shared Services function overseeing end-to-end accounting

Your new company
You will be joining an established organisation with a growing presence across Southeast Asia. As part of its regional finance transformation, the organisation is developing a centralised Finance Shared Services function to strengthen governance, improve operational efficiency and support its continued growth.

Your new role
As the Finance Manager, Shared Services, you will establish and lead the Finance Shared Services function supporting multiple entities across Southeast Asia.
Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will oversee end-to-end accounting operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger, including fixed assets, intercompany transactions, bank reconciliations, costing, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing.
As this is a newly created position, you will play a central role in designing the shared services operating model, standardising regional finance processes, implementing policies and internal controls, and transitioning activities from local finance teams into the centralised function.
You will also establish service-level agreements, performance indicators and reporting dashboards while driving automation, system optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives. In addition, you will lead statutory and regulatory compliance activities, manage regional stakeholders, and build and develop a high-performing finance team.

What you'll need to succeed
A degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
At least eight years of progressive finance and accounting experience
A minimum of three to five years of managerial or supervisory experience
Strong end-to-end experience across AP, AR, GL, financial closing and reporting
Experience supporting multiple legal entities or markets across Southeast Asia
Hands-on experience establishing, transitioning or improving a Finance Shared Services function
