Description
- Manage and oversee daily financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and company policies in all financial transactions.
- Prepare and present financial reports to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise financial performance and cost efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team to maintain high standards of financial management.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Work closely with external auditors and other stakeholders during financial audits.
Profile
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are preferred.
- At least 8 years working experience in finance/accounting
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in Malaysia.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
