Coordinates and manages month-end and annual closes, financial reporting, and drives monthly business performance reviews to work towards the company's financial goals.
Oversees treasury, cash flow, and accounts payable management to ensure policy adherence and efficient obligation fulfillment.
Monitors local regulatory compliance (tax, audit, statutory filing).
Strong grasp of cost structures, product costing, and inventory management, providing recommendations for improvements.
Responsible for integrated finance functions, including operational finance, corporate finance, treasury, and taxation.
Improves finance department operations for timeliness, accuracy, and efficiency in deliverables.
Responsible for the organizations accounting and financial functions such as taxation, cash flow management, budgeting, financial analysis and feasibility study for expansion.
Manages financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Job Requirements
At least LCCI or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, ACCA, CIMA, or PA.
At least five (5) years of working experience in a similar position.
Good knowledge of accounting standards, taxation and other regulatory financial reporting requirements.
High level of integrity and result-oriented.
Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
A positive thinker, pro-active, energetic and takes initiative to complete tasks timely.
A team player and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Required language(s): Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia. Conversation in Mandarin is an added advantage.
