Job Description
Operational Execution
- Execute assigned intercompany cost allocation cycles in line with established governance frameworks
- Perform cost pool analysis and allocation calculations using approved tools and methodologies
- Prepare and process intercompany invoices and perform related reconciliations
- Review allocation outputs to ensure completeness, accuracy, and commercial reasonableness
Control & Compliance
- Ensure recharge activities comply with internal policies, tax, statutory, and transfer pricing requirements
- Support documentation requirements for audit and tax reviews
- Identify and escalate risks, discrepancies, or process gaps
- Maintain accurate supporting schedules and working papers
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with business finance, tax, and intercompany teams to validate allocation drivers and assumptions
- Provide explanations and analysis to stakeholders on allocation outcomes
- Support governance discussions related to allocation methodology updates
Continuous Improvement & Transformation
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen controls within the allocation process
- Contribute to process standardisation and automation initiatives
- Assist in preparing documentation for changes in allocation methodology
- Support ad hoc finance transformation or system enhancement projects
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) or in progress is advantageous
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in finance operations, intercompany accounting, cost allocation, or management reporting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Exposure to cost allocation, head office cost distribution, or intercompany processes preferred
- Familiarity with transfer pricing principles is an advantage
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIF, data analysis)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent)
