What your typical day will look like:

As a Finance Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations across Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring billing, invoicing, and financial transactions are processed accurately and within agreed service levels. Working closely with both internal stakeholders and external vendors, you will help maintain smooth financial operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and governance standards.

Your day-to-day work will involve processing invoices, resolving billing and payment queries, supporting month-end activities, and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure financial data remains accurate and up to date. Through strong attention to detail and stakeholder management, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes and service delivery.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Process Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) transactions, ensuring invoices, billings, and financial requests are completed accurately and within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Review billing, invoice, and media system records, resolving exceptions, unbilled items, and financial discrepancies while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Partner closely with planners, buyers, client servicing teams, suppliers, and finance stakeholders to resolve billing, payment, and account-related queries in a timely manner.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities, including account reconciliations, audit preparation, and compliance documentation.
  • Drive operational excellence by identifying process improvement opportunities, supporting governance initiatives, participating in cross-functional backup responsibilities, and maintaining accurate financial records.

A bit about you:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with approximately 3-5 years of experience in finance operations, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or full-set accounting.
  • Good understanding of AR and AP processes, financial reconciliations, invoice management, and month-end financial activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate confidently with both internal teams and external vendors.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, media systems (e.g. PIN), or similar finance platforms would be a strong advantage, alongside strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and driven by continuous improvement, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
