The Role
This unique rotational role within Global Accounting and Financial Services (GAFS) offers exposure to various accounting and financial functions including Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). The Global Business Service Support team member will rotate across modules to support global business operations, drive process improvements, and gain a holistic understanding of AMD's financial ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in rotational assignments across GAFS functions to support global financial operations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across different modules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Prepare and present financial insights and updates to leadership.
- Contribute to global projects and initiatives, including automation and standardization efforts.
- Document learnings and best practices from each rotation to support knowledge sharing and onboarding.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a shared services or multinational environment.
- 2 - 5 years of related working experience.
- Exposure to ERP systems (SAP S4 preferred), advanced Excel skills, Power Automate & Power BI will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in process improvement or project-based work is a plus.
Academic Credentials
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- MBA or CPA is an advantage.
