What You'll Do
- Manage standard cost requests in the cost accounting email inbox; provide timely response and action to resolve issues and close requests;
- Analyze and review Bills of Material (BOM) and standard costs to ensure accurate product costing;
- Analyze complex transactions for Cost of Goods Sold, Inventory and Production Order Variances
- Complete monthly close responsibilities and Forecast activities related to manufacturing costs, work-in-process inventory, manufacturing accruals and ensuring timeliness and accuracy meeting stringent deadlines;
- Provide support to the business partners (Manufacturing, Order Fulfillment, Supply Chain )
- Perform standard cost rollups on a periodic basis and provide revaluation impact analysis;
- Identify cost accounting process improvements to facilitate scalability and streamlining;
- Work closely with cross functional operations business partners and the Finance teams (Europe, Asia, U.S.) on critical tool shipments, annual operating plans, metrics, cost roll, variance reporting, etc.
- Ensure compliance with SOX 404 internal controls and compile documentation to support requests from internal and external auditors.
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or business-related field with 5+ years of experience; or Master's degree or equivalent certification (MBA, CPA, CFA, CA, CMA, or equivalent) with 3+ years experience; or equivalent experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, dashboards, and data visualization.
- Attention to details and demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain business partner relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload; effective multi-tasking skills are vital.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Foundational understanding of US GAAP and IFRS is a plus.
- Prior experience within technology, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and reporting skills.
- SAP and Business Objects experience is highly desirable or demonstrable strong systems skills.
- Experience in business intelligence (BI) technologies, tools, and concepts.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse, cross-functional, and international teams including occasional flexible schedules to accommodate time zones.

On-site Flex you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. Virtual Flex you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
