Financial Analyst and Planner

Job description:

You are tasked with conducting in-depth financial analysis, planning, and research to

generate actionable insights for the market, manage financial risks, and ensure the

sustainability and profitability of agricultural projects. Additionally, your role involves

ensuring compliance with grant requirements, assisting in managing agreements especially

under AGRI-SPARK , supporting sales processes for AG-MARKET and AGRI-SPARK products, and auditing inventory or stock-keeping practices.

Job Scope:

1. Perform financial analysis on agricultural projects, track performance, and prepare

comprehensive reports.

2. Developing forecasts and budgets, incorporating risk assessments and market trends to support strategic decisions.

3. Provide insights from research on agricultural markets and sustainability initiatives to inform planning and development.

4. Assess and strategize on mitigating agricultural-specific financial risks.

5. Assist in strategy formulation for promoting agricultural products and expanding market presence.

6. Ensure adherence to grant documentation and compliance requirements, facilitating

smooth financial operations and reporting.

7. Manage and coordinate agreements with farmers, ensuring clarity and mutual benefits in business arrangements.

8. Assist the accounts team in recording and managing sales data, specifically for AGRI-SPARK products, to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

9. Auditing the inventory or stock-keeping of materials used in the company or by farmers

under the AGRI-SPARK project, ensuring accuracy and accountability.

10. Assist in correcting and reconciling disbursements for each farmer, ensuring financial transparency and fairness.

Qualifications:

✔ A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Agribusiness, or a related field, with a

Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.

✔ Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis software.

✔ Expertise in Excel and other financial management tools.

✔ Must manage financial figures, forecasts, and compliance documents with precision to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.

✔ Capable of identifying and strategizing on financial risks and opportunities is vital.

✔ Effective in communicating financial insights and requirements clearly to various

stakeholders.

✔ Ability to adjust strategies based on changing market trends and agricultural sector

challenges is essential.

✔ Able to lead and collaborate effectively across departments.

✔ Skill in forging and maintaining productive relationships with clients, partners, and

stakeholders is key.

✔ A deep understanding of agricultural market dynamics and factors influencing the

economy.

✔ Knowledge of sustainability practices and their financial implications.
