About The Role
FinancialAnalyst – Record to Report (RTR) role is responsible and supports for allfinancial aspects of the BSO function, driving continuous improvementobjectives and ensures SLA & Business KPIs, SOX Compliance are met.
What You'll Do
- PerformingGeneral Ledger (GL) journal entry review to ensure it is in line with SOXrequirement in accordance to journal type / nature.
- Verifyand justify all numbers against the source documents
- Ensurejournal entry is posted accurately to the correct GL account by its nature
- Alljournal to be reviewed within the agreed turnaround time
- Supportmonthly or yearly SOX testing by providing all relevant documentations
- Manage/monitor query resolution related to journal entry
- Assistin developing and implementing process improvements to meet business goals.
- Performany ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities which the superior may assign from timeto time .
What You'll Need
- Degreein Accounting / professional qualifications will be an added advantage (CA,CPA, ACCA)
- Atleast 2 years experience in a Finance / SSC / Audit environment
- Ableto work independently with minimal supervision
- Highlevel of accuracy, numerical ability and attention to detail
- Abilityto work under pressure to meet deadline and longer working hours duringmonth-end close.
- Proficiencyin English
- Ateam player and able to promote teamwork among the team
- Flexibility,ability to deal with ambiguity and change
