Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Financial Process Compliance: Conduct audits and reviews of various financial processes in strict accordance with the group headquarters and the Malaysian subsidiary's financial regulations, management measures, and requirements.
  2. Financial Accounting & Reporting: Demonstrate proficiency in IFRS, PRC GAAP, and local Malaysian financial/economic regulations. Independently manage the full-cycle financial accounting for the overseas entity, prepare local statutory financial statements, and execute financial statement conversion into domestic (PRC) GAAP.
  3. Tax Management & Compliance: Oversee tax filing, tax planning, and applications for tax incentives for the Malaysian entity. Maintain a solid understanding of transfer pricing principles for cross-border related-party transactions to ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements and mitigate tax risks.
  4. Internal Control & System Development: Establish, standardize, and optimize the financial management policies, guidelines, and operational workflows for the Malaysian subsidiary.
  5. Business Partnering: Actively engage with and gain a deep understanding of the group's business operations in Malaysia; provide professional financial support, analysis, and assurance to facilitate strategic business decisions in Malaysia and related business units.
  6. External Stakeholder Relations: Build, foster, and maintain strong corporate relationships with local external authorities and institutions (e.g., tax bureaus, banks, auditors).

Job Requirements

  1. Education & Background: Bachelor's degree or above from a full-time accredited university, majoring in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines. A background in the manufacturing industry is mandatory.
  2. Work Experience: A minimum of 8 years of professional financial experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on experience in full-set accounting management, corporate tax, and financial operations for overseas entities.
  3. Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken). Candidates with overseas study experience are highly preferred.
  4. Core Competencies: Strong professional ethics, exceptional communication and execution skills, a high sense of responsibility, and a proven track record of effective teamwork.
