Position Summary:
The Financial Content Writer, who will be supporting our global banking client, is to be experienced in writing long-form wealth and investment articles. Content will be published on clients website and mobile app across multiple markets.
Writers must be able to translate/interpret complex financial concepts into clear, engaging, and compliant editorial content tailored to retail and affluent investors.
Position Responsibilities
- Write 9001200 words long-form financial articles
- Ensure content is educational, neutral, insight-led (not sales-heavy), structured with strong headlines, subheads, summaries, SEO-aware (where required), compliant with financial content standards
- Topics include, but not limited to equities investing, ETFs (dividend ETFs, index ETFs, market cap-weighted ETFs), mutual funds vs SIP, asset allocation, portfolio strategies, market insights and trends
- Adapt tone to specific markets (Singapore, India, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Taiwan)
- Incorporate client-provided inputs (product notes, compliance edits, SME feedback)
- Revise drafts based on editorial and compliance feedback
Required Experience & Skills
- 35+ years experience writing financial / investment content
- Strong financial understanding, but not limited to equity markets, ETFs, mutual funds, portfolio construction concepts
- Experience writing for banks, asset managers, fintech, or financial publications
- Ability to simplify technical financial topics for retail investors
- Language Requirements: Traditional Chinese Writers - native fluency (HK/TW tone sensitivity required)
- Finance background (good to have, not mandatory)
- Experience writing for multi-market audiences
- Familiarity with content driven environments
