Description
- Financial Reporting and Forecasting: Manage and oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including budgets, forecasts, and the full set of financial statements for the group.
- External and Statutory Reporting: Prepare and submit quarterly and annual financial reports to Bursa Malaysia, and coordinate with external auditors and the company secretary to ensure compliance.
- Strategic Financial Support: Provide financial analysis for project feasibility studies and prepare reports and papers for board meetings.
- Corporate and Project Management: Manage corporate exercises and liaise with bankers for financing needs.
- Administrative and Ad-Hoc Duties: Oversee the administrative department and handle other tasks as assigned by the CEO or Board of Directors.
Profile
A Successful Financial Controller Should Have
- A recognized degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting and compliance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong knowledge of the energy industry is an advantage.
