Description
- Financial Operations & Reporting
- Lead and oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable financial reporting to support business objectives.
- Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle, while monitoring financial performance and providing insights on variances against established targets and plans.
- Treasury, Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Oversee cash flow planning, working capital efficiency, and funding requirements to ensure optimal liquidity and effective utilization of financial resources.
- Regulatory Compliance & Corporate Governance
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax legislation, statutory obligations, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining robust internal controls and governance frameworks.
- Audit, Risk & Business Advisory
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities, proactively identify financial and operational risks, and provide strategic financial insights to support business growth, investments, and management decision-making.
- Leadership & Process Improvement
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team while driving continuous enhancements in financial processes, controls, systems, and operational efficiency.
Profile
A Successful Financial Controller Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Proven expertise in financial management within the engineering industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with financial systems and tools.
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
