Description
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize the company's performance.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and forecasts effectively.
- Supervise and lead the accounting & finance team to achieve organizational goals.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the senior management team.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring internal controls are in place.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
Profile
A Successful Financial Controller Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with professional qualifications like ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is MUST HAVE.
- Strong leadership experience is a MUST HAVE.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
- Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present financial insights effectively.
