Job Description
- Lead overall financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Drive financial strategy and performance management by analyzing results, identifying improvement areas, and supporting company‑wide strategic decisions.
- Oversee investor relations by managing communications with investors, analysts, and stakeholders, and preparing key financial disclosures and presentations.
- Manage IPO readiness and capital market activities, coordinating with banks, legal advisors, and regulators to support listing or fundraising efforts.
- Lead M&A activities including financial due diligence, valuation, deal assessments, and post‑merger integration.
- Develop and mentor the finance team while managing relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Financial Controller Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in the Energy industry.
