Reporting to Finance Director
We are partnering with a fast-scaling organisation within the hyperscale data / data centre space to appoint a Financial Controller who can operate in a high-volume, capital-intensive, and regionally complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-spectrum financial controllership covering financial reporting, month-end close, consolidation, and statutory compliance across multiple legal entities.
- Manage high transaction volumes and complex cost structures, ensuring accuracy, robustness of controls, and timeliness of reporting.
- Oversee technical accounting matters including IFRS interpretation, revenue recognition, lease accounting, fixed assets, and large-scale CAPEX accounting.
- Partner with regional and global stakeholders to deliver consistent reporting, governance, and financial discipline.
- Manage external audits, regulatory requirements, and statutory filings across jurisdictions.
- Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, systems, and controls, including automation and scalability.
- Lead and develop a finance team, fostering a strong culture of accountability and technical excellence.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professionally qualified (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent).
- Strong technical accounting skillset with hands-on experience in IFRS and complex accounting areas.
- Proven experience handling large-scale, high-volume finance operations, ideally within hyperscale data centres, infrastructure, technology, or capital-intensive industries.
- Regional exposure with experience supporting or reporting across multiple markets.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities; able to operate both hands-on and at a strategic level.
- Experience with ERP systems and finance transformation initiatives is an advantage.
