Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the finance team in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, management reporting, and statutory requirements.
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and support strategic decision-making.
• Drive improvements in working capital management, cash flow optimisation, cost control, and profitability enhancement.
• Develop and strengthen business controlling processes to improve visibility of operational and financial performance.
• Support business planning activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance reviews.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations for capital investments, expansion projects, and new business initiatives.
• Evaluate business cases by analysing costs, benefits, risks, and expected returns.
• Drive finance process improvements, automation initiatives, and implementation of best practices across the organisation.
• Ensure effective month-end and year-end closing processes, including coordination with external auditors.
• Prepare monthly financial analysis and performance reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with regional and international stakeholders to align financial practices and reporting standards.

Requirement

• sBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) are advantageous
• .Minimum 10 years of relevant finance experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• .Proven experience in financial controlling, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering
• .Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights
• .Experience leading and developing finance teams with a hands-on leadership approach
• .Comfortable working with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders in an international environment
• .Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and business intelligence/reporting tools
• .Experience with ERP systems and finance process improvement initiatives is preferred
• .Experience in multinational or regional organisations will be an added advantage
