Job Description

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and maintain relationships with domestic and international banks, sovereign institutions, and other financial institution clients. Conduct new client acquisition, onboarding and exit management, promote business development and cooperation across deposits, loans and other banking products, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) including loan growth, deposit growth, and revenue targets.
  • Drive cross-selling of the Bank's full suite of financial institution products and services, including RMB clearing, credit facilities, treasury and financial markets products, bond trading, trade finance, and other transaction banking solutions.
  • Initiate and manage credit facilities for clients with financing needs, including credit assessment and rating, credit approval applications, limit management, post-lending monitoring, and ongoing risk management and control.
  • Handle correspondent banking and Nostro/Vostro account management, including account opening and closure, agreement negotiation and execution. Maintain client information records for banking financial institutions and support the Bank's anti-money laundering (AML), know-your-customer (KYC), and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct industry and market research to support business strategy. Develop and maintain relevant business process, and operating guidelines.
  • Coordinate and organize client engagement events.

Requirement

  • At least three (3) years of experience in the financial service industry, with strong capability in client relationship management, business development, marketing and customer services.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in corporate banking of financial institutions lending and credit management, with strong hand-on experience in credit analysis, credit approval processes, and loan execution.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of domestic and international financial institutions and banking markets, with the ability to independently originate and develop client relationship, identify business opportunities and execute related banking transactions.
  • Familiar with a broad range of banking products and services, including payments and clearing, financial markets, and trade finance. Possess sound risk management knowledge and practical experience in identifying, assessing and managing business and credit risks.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to prepare, review and present business, credit and analytical reports in Chinese so as to serve the Chinese speaking customers and report to Head Office.
  • Possess excellent teamwork spirit and a strong sense of responsibility, as well as strong adaptability and resilience under pressure.
