You Will
- Act as a Lead in Malaysia, overseeing the team responsible for chargebacks, disputes, refunds, and other financial operations processes.
- Be hands-on in operations, especially in the initial phase — gaining a deep understanding of the end-to-end chargeback process, including submission to the network, documentation, and resolution handling.
- Develop, optimize, and update operational processes to drive efficiency and consistency across markets.
- Maintain and update operations dashboards and tracking systems to monitor team performance and key operational metrics.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, CS, Compliance, etc.) to ensure smooth operations and a seamless user experience.
Requirements
- Have at least 6 years of working experience, preferably in the financial or fintech industry.
- Possess strong operational knowledge of chargeback processes — from case submission to the network through to resolution and closure.
- Demonstrated leadership potential, with the ability to take initiative and guide others toward shared goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Analytical and structured thinker, capable of identifying root causes and proposing practical solutions.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, able to manage confidential and sensitive data with care.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and open to learning in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
